Description
The California Department of Transportation is seeking bids for general building repair and replacement services in Tuolumne County. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all equipment, vehicles, machinery, tools, materials, parts, permits, supplies, travel, legal disposal/recycling of waste, fees, and incidentals necessary to provide general building repair services to Caltrans. The contract requires a Class B – General Building Contractor license issued by the California Contractors State Licensing Board. The bid proposal must not exceed $461,000.00.
• The contractor must have a valid and current registration with the Department of Industrial Relations.
• The contractor must possess a Class B – General Building Contractor license issued by the California Contractors State Licensing Board.
• The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including prevailing wage rates and labor laws.
• The contractor must provide a payment bond for not less than 100% of the total amount payable by the terms of this Agreement.
• The contractor must maintain general liability insurance with limits not less than $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate for bodily injury and property damage liability.
