Chilled Water Infrastructure Expansion North Chiller Plant

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking bids for the Chilled Water Infrastructure Expansion North Chiller Plant project. The project involves the installation of new cooling towers and related equipment in an existing concrete basin. The contractor will be responsible for arranging and coordinating the delivery of owner-prepurchased equipment, unloading, rigging, and setting the equipment in place, making connections, starting, testing, and commissioning the equipment. The contractor must also provide materials and connections for owner-furnished equipment. • The project includes the installation of three new cooling towers with a capacity of 6000 GPM each. • The cooling towers will be installed in an existing concrete basin and will require the connection of piping, power, and controls. • The contractor must also provide a variable frequency drive (VFD) system for the cooling tower fans. • The project requires compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and university policies. • The contractor must provide a complete and detailed bid, including all required attachments and signatures. • The university reserves the right to reject any bid that does not meet the requirements of the invitation for bid.
