Lease/Purchase of Commercial Laundry Equipment

The State of Kansas is soliciting bids for the lease and/or purchase of commercial laundry equipment, including washers, extractors, and dryers, for a term of three years with the option of two additional 12-month terms. The equipment must meet specific specifications, including brand, model, capacity, voltage, controls, drain, and water inlet. The contractor must provide installation, preventative maintenance, and repairs for the entirety of the lease agreement. The state reserves the right to reject any items that do not conform to the specifications. • The contractor must provide a cost sheet with pricing for 3 or 5-year lease options, including monthly and annual costs, and a lease buyout at the end of the term. • The contractor must guarantee design, material, and workmanship in accordance with the standard factory warranty. • The contractor must provide a copy of all warranties with the bid submission. • The minimum warranty required is 365 days.
