Liquid Helium Delivery

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is seeking information from contractors who can supply liquid helium (LHe) in 100 and 250-liter dewars on an as-needed basis. The contractor shall furnish the necessary personnel, material, equipment, services, and facilities to supply LHe. The LHe shall have a minimum purity of 99.998%. The contractor shall deliver the LHe to NIST's central drop-off sites and pick up empty dewars at the same facilities. The contractor shall also provide specialty dewars, such as wide-mouth and purged dewars, as needed. The contractor shall maintain records of dewar servicing and provide regular delivery schedules.
