Description
The Douglasville-Douglas County Water and Sewer Authority is soliciting competitive sealed bids for dry and liquid treatment chemicals on an as-needed basis. The successful bidder will provide chemicals such as aluminum sulfate, liquid sodium bisulfite, ferrous sulfate, sodium hydroxide, ferric chloride, and sodium hypochlorite. The bidder must ensure that all chemicals meet the specifications outlined in the bid document. The Authority reserves the right to reject all bids or any bid that is nonresponsive or submitted by a nonresponsible bidder.
• The contract period is from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027.
• The Authority will place orders on an as-needed basis, and the successful bidder must deliver the chemicals within 20 calendar days of receipt of a purchase order.
• The bidder must provide a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for each chemical and certify that the chemicals meet the ANSI/NSF 60 and 61 standards.
• The bidder must also provide a Certificate of Analysis for each shipment of sodium chloride.
