REMOVAL & DISPOSAL OF DERELICT/ABANDONED VESSEL/DEBRIS

The Contra Costa County Office of the Sheriff Marine Services is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced Marine Salvage/Construction contractors to provide vessel and debris removal services on an as-needed basis. The contract will be for a 3-year term with two 1-year extensions. The contractor will be responsible for removing vessels and marine debris from Contra Costa County and properly disposing of them in accordance with federal, state, and regional laws and regulations. • The contractor must have experience in managing the removal, storage, and disposal of derelict vessels. • The contractor must have necessary insurance coverage and provide certificates and licenses as required by County, State, and Federal laws. • The contractor must submit a proposal that includes a detailed explanation of the cost to be charged to the County. • The contractor must provide a work plan and procedures for removal and disposing of targeted vessels. • The contractor must attend operational and strategy meetings if required by the Sheriff Marine Services Unit.
