Peer Review Organization

The Mississippi State Department of Health (MSDH) is seeking a Peer Review Organization (PRO) to provide Independent Informal Dispute Resolution (IIDR) services. The selected contractor will be responsible for resolving disputes related to healthcare services, ensuring compliance with state regulations and national standards, and promoting quality healthcare delivery. The scope of work includes providing IIDR services, conducting training sessions, and submitting reports. The contractor must have experience in providing IDR services, demonstrate previous engagements with state health departments, and have a minimum of five years of experience in providing IDR services or similar peer review activities. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing IIDR services within stipulated timeframes • Conducting training sessions for stakeholders on the IIDR process • Establishing a case management system to track and manage disputes • Submitting monthly and annual reports to MSDH • Maintaining a quality assurance program to evaluate the effectiveness of the IIDR process
