Project 26-1450 Southport Marina Entrance Dredging

The City of Kenosha is seeking a qualified contractor to perform dredging operations at the Southport Marina entrance. The work includes removing approximately 4,000 cubic yards of Lake Michigan sediment, transporting and depositing the material one mile south on a permitted bulkhead, and conducting pre‑ and post‑dredging surveys. A turbidity curtain must be installed and later removed to control sediment migration during disposal. • Dredge ~4,000 cubic yards of sediment from Southport Marina mouth. • Transport and place material on an existing bulkhead one mile south. • Conduct pre‑dredging and post‑dredging surveys, and install/remove a turbidity curtain. • Provide all required documentation, including a “Bidder’s Proof of Responsibility” form. • Deliver project within the timeframe set by the City’s engineering department.
