Description
The State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation, is seeking bids for the maintenance of landscaped areas and inspection of irrigation systems along the Kalanianaole Highway from Aina Koa Avenue to Hanauma Bay Entrance on the island of Oahu. The project involves maintaining landscaped areas, inspecting and repairing irrigation systems, and performing other related tasks. Bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii Specialty Contractors "C-27" license at the time of bidding. The contract term is 36 months, with an option to extend for two additional 12-month periods. The bid price shall include all applicable taxes and fees.
• Maintenance of landscaped areas, including mowing, pruning, and fertilizing
• Inspection and repair of irrigation systems
• Litter collection, including clearing gutters, swales, and ditches
• Miscellaneous work, as required
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including workers' compensation, unemployment compensation, payment of wages, and safety
• Payment of wages or salaries not less than the wages paid to public officers and employees for similar work
