Description
This project is a county‑wide, CDBG‑funded construction effort to install engineered swale blocks, associated drainage structures, and related roadway improvements at several public right‑of‑way locations. The contractor will be responsible for all site preparation, excavation, placement of concrete swale blocks, installation of French drains, utility coordination, traffic control, arbor system planting, and final restoration (pavement, sidewalks, sodding). The work is organized as a work‑order‑driven contract with a total spend not to exceed the award amount and a fixed‑price, unit‑price payment structure. The contract requires compliance with federal labor‑law (Davis‑Bacon, HUD‑Section 3), DBE goals, and a suite of insurance and bonding requirements.
