Underground Utility Location Services for MSD

City of Cincinnati’s Metropolitan Sewer District (MSDGC) is seeking a qualified firm to provide comprehensive underground utility locating, marking, and mapping services for its sewer infrastructure. The contractor will perform surveys, employ electromagnetic and ground‑penetrating radar (GPR) technologies, generate digital maps, verify utility conflicts, and deliver reports in compliance with ASCE 38‑02 standards. The contract runs for five years with an optional two‑year extension and a maximum ceiling of $450,000 (plus a 1 % administrative fee). • Survey, locate, and mark all underground utilities (pipes, cables, conduits) using EM and GPR. • Produce digital deliverables, field sketches, and GIS‑ready maps; ensure ASCE 38‑02 compliance. • Provide QA/QC procedures, staff qualifications, and references; must be a registered vendor in the City’s VSS system. • Submit a full technical and pricing proposal via the Bonfire portal by April 7, 2026.
