The New Jersey Department of Education is offering a continuation grant under the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers program for FY 2026‑27. Eligible agencies are those that received a competitive award in Cohorts 18‑21 and meet performance and reporting requirements. The grant funds comprehensive out‑of‑school‑time (OST) services—including academic remediation and enrichment, youth development, health/fitness, arts, and family engagement—for students in grades 3‑12. Each award is capped based on the number of students served, with a maximum of $600,000 for programs serving more than 300 students. Grantees must submit monthly reimbursement requests, quarterly narrative/fiscal reports, several surveys, and a final report, all through the Electronic Web‑Enabled Grant (EWEG) system. The program period runs from September 1 2026 to August 31 2027, and the application deadline is June 11 2026.
