MEMORIAL AVE FUEL SITE REHABILITATION

The City of Lynchburg is seeking sealed bids for the Memorial Ave Fuel Site Rehabilitation project. The project consists of establishing a temporary fuel site within the City, upgrading equipment at Fire Station 7, upgrading equipment at Refuse, upgrading equipment at Fleet Services, and the demolition and renovation of the Memorial Ave. location. The bid must include all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to complete the project. • The project has a mandatory pre-bid meeting on October 8, 2025, at 10:00 AM. • Bidders must submit their bids by October 29, 2025, at 3:00 PM. • The bid must include a base bid amount and may include alternate bids for additional work. • The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids. • The project is expected to be completed within 210 calendar days. • The City will make partial payments on a monthly basis, with a 5% retainage. • The bid must include a performance bond and a payment bond, each in the amount of 100% of the base bid. • The City will conduct a live bid opening on October 29, 2025, at 3:00 PM.
