Service Area 2b: Justice Involved Youth Services In-Custody Services that address family engagement and increased family involvement.

The County of Santa Cruz Probation Department is seeking proposals from qualified youth- and young person-serving organizations to provide culturally responsive, evidence-informed services that enhance the well-being, development, and positive outcomes of justice-involved youth and emerging adults. The services should address family engagement and increased family involvement. The proposal should include a description of the service types, sources of service, and method of delivery, as well as a plan for selecting the types and kinds of services to be provided. The proposal should also include a plan for ensuring that individuals who have been most impacted by racial and ethnic disparities receive the proposed services. • The services should be delivered in a culturally responsive and evidence-informed manner. • The proposal should include a plan for evaluating the effectiveness of the services. • The proposal should include a plan for addressing known barriers to serving the target population. • The proposal should include a plan for minimizing start-up time so that services can be delivered as soon as possible. • The proposal should include a plan for determining the staff and/or entity that will oversee data tracking and quality assurance to support the project evaluation.
