Trade Package - Airport Substation Transformer Upgrade Project - TP-01 - Design Assist Electrical

The Airport Substation Transformer Upgrade Project aims to replace two existing transformers with three new 55-MVA transformers, switchgear equipment, and other supporting electrical systems. The project will increase capacity and improve power supply reliability and redundancy. The successful proposer will be responsible for providing design assist and preconstruction services during Phase 1 and construction work during Phase 2. The project must be implemented in phases to avoid disrupting airport operations and minimize impacts on the San Francisco Garter Snake Recovery Action Plan. • The project requires a design assist electrical trade package. • The proposer must provide preconstruction services, including designing special systems, performing constructability reviews, and developing logistics plans. • The project has a participation requirement of 8% for local business enterprises (LBEs). • The proposer must meet specific standards, including achieving or improving the budget and schedule, to be awarded the construction phase of the project.
