INTRACOASTAL WATERWAY MAINTENANCE DREDGING VICINITY OF BAKERS HAULOVER, MIAMI-DADE, COUNTY, FLORIDA

The US Army Corps of Engineers is seeking proposals for maintenance dredging of the Intracoastal Waterway channel and settling basin in the vicinity of Bakers Haulover, Miami-Dade, County, Florida. The project includes turbidity monitoring, environmental species monitoring, beach fill quality control, and beach tilling. The contractor must commence work within 60 calendar days of receiving the notice to proceed and complete the work within 100 calendar days. The estimated magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. • The project requires maintenance dredging of the Intracoastal Waterway channel and settling basin. • The excavated material will be placed in the beach placement area south of Bakers Haulover Inlet. • Incidental work includes turbidity monitoring, environmental species monitoring, beach fill quality control, and beach tilling. • The contractor must commence work within 60 calendar days of receiving the notice to proceed. • The contractor must complete the work within 100 calendar days of receiving the notice to proceed.
