Description

The U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Chemical Defense (USAMRICD) is seeking information on commercially available 600 MHz Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectrometer systems. The goal is to identify qualified sources capable of supplying, installing, commissioning, and supporting a state-of-the-art system that meets or exceeds current and anticipated future research needs in a secure, regulated laboratory environment. The system should have a minimum of 24 slot autosampler, room temperature probe, cryoprobe, and liquid chiller. The vendor should provide documentation that demonstrates these characteristics are available and provide information on additional components, performance, and material characteristics. Some key points to consider include: • The system must be a 600 MHz NMR spectrometer • The system must have a minimum 24 slot autosampler • The system must have a room temperature probe and cryoprobe • The vendor must provide documentation that demonstrates the characteristics are available • The vendor must provide information on additional components, performance, and material characteristics

Budget estimate

$500,000 – $2,000,000

The budget for this opportunity is difficult to estimate because it is a Request for Information and not a solicitation for a contract. However, based on the information provided, it appears that the USAMRICD is looking to replace an existing 600 MHz NMR spectrometer with a new state-of-the-art system. The cost of such a system can range from $500,000 to $2 million or more, depending on the specific features and components. The factors that may influence the likely payment range include: The complexity of the system and its components The level of customization required The vendor's reputation and experience The level of competition in the market
