Description
The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA) in Fort Detrick, MD intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Pacific Biosciences (PacBio) for the delivery and installation of one Card Processing Automation CPA200 instrument. The contractor will provide maintenance and service for the Pacific Biosciences Vega laboratory equipment, including preventive maintenance, technical support, software support, and repair services. The contractor must be OEM trained and have demonstrated technical competence.
• The contract will be for a base period of 8 months with four 12-month option periods and a possible 6-month extension.
• The contractor will provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary to perform services.
• The contractor will perform to the standards and acceptable quality levels identified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and associated Order documents.
• The contractor will provide software support and updates as identified in the PWS.
