Design-Build Services for a Climbing Wall Reconstruction at the Chapel Hill Community Center

The Town of Chapel Hill is seeking a design-build team to provide professional design and construction services for the reconstruction of the climbing wall at the Chapel Hill Community Center. The selected team will be responsible for attending and leading a community input meeting, demolishing and removing the existing climbing wall structure, designing and constructing a new climbing wall system, and providing construction administration services. The team must have experience with similar projects, familiarity with modern construction techniques, and knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local permitting requirements. • The project includes the design and construction of a new climbing wall system with bouldering, top-rope, and lead climbing zones • The team must provide customization for users of varied skill levels and ADA accessibility • The team must ensure compliance with all applicable local building codes and climbing safety standards • The team must have experience with regulatory guidance and permitting processes • The team must be able to work closely with Town staff and other stakeholders throughout the design and construction process
