Description

The City of Clermont is seeking a qualified contractor to stabilize approximately 700 linear feet of eroded shoreline/slope along the lakeside of the South Lake Trail / Lake Apopka Trail corridor adjacent to 12th Street near West Beach / Lake Minneola Drive. The project includes field verification, permitting, design, and installation of an appropriate stabilization system, erosion control, fill, sod, restoration, and cleanup to protect the adjacent trail, shoreline, and public infrastructure. The contractor will be responsible for evaluating existing site conditions, determining the appropriate stabilization method, and providing a complete, turnkey shoreline/slope stabilization installation. • The project is performance-based, with no engineered construction plans provided. • The contractor must provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, permitting, and incidentals necessary to complete the work. • The contractor must ensure that the completed installation resists continued erosion and stabilizes the shoreline/slope area. • The contractor must address grading and surface drainage conditions that may contribute to erosion or slope instability. • The contractor must provide a finished condition that is uniform, stable, neat, workmanlike, and compatible with the surrounding public trail and shoreline environment.
