Fiscal Services for the Wind Down of Former Redevelopment Agencies

The County of San Mateo is seeking a qualified agency or individual to provide consulting services for the administration of the Redevelopment Property Tax Trust Fund. The services include pass-through calculations, ROPS objection review, prior period adjustment review, and analysis supporting implementation of HSC § 34187. The contract is expected to start in August 2026 and last for 36 months, with two one-year options to extend. The selected contractor will work with the County Controller's staff to perform the required services. Some key aspects of the job include: • Performing pass-through calculations for each Successor Agency • Reviewing ROPS schedules and providing corrections • Conducting prior period adjustment reviews • Analyzing data to support implementation of HSC § 34187 • Providing estimates of pass-through payments for each SA • Maintaining communication with County staff via meetings, phone calls, and emails The County is looking for a qualified contractor with experience in providing similar services, and the ability to demonstrate competency and expertise in delivering the required services.
