Kauai Westside Fire and Emergency Response Storage Facility

The Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) Division of Forestry and Wildlife (DOFAW) is seeking a secured storage facility on the westside of Kauai to store fire and emergency response equipment and supplies. The facility should have at least 2500 sqft of covered space, be secured by a lockable 8’ cyclone fence or have security guards on site, and have access to water. The facility will not be accessed regularly, but DOFAW staff will need 24/7 hour access to the site during an emergency. Some key requirements include: • At least 2500 sqft of covered space • Secured by a lockable 8’ cyclone fence or security guards on site • Access to water (can be non-potable) • Ability to accommodate a D6 dozer, wheel loader, mini excavator, track loader, tractor, and mowing attachment • 24/7 hour access to the site for DOFAW staff during an emergency
