REBID II Fiber Construction Services - North Region

The Illinois Department of Innovation and Technology is seeking a Primary and Secondary Vendor to provide Fiber Construction Services in the North Region of the State of Illinois. The scope of work includes cable construction, installation, and maintenance of fiber optic, communication, and computer systems. The contract will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder who submits the lowest price. The State reserves the right to amend the solicitation, reject any or all bids, and waive minor defects. • The contract will be for a multi-award Invitation for Bid (IFB) • The State will determine whether the Bidder is a “responsible” Bidder • The State may require a performance bond if necessary • The contract will include Information and Technology Standard Terms and Conditions and Standard Illinois Certifications • The State encourages prospective vendors to consider hiring qualified veterans and Illinois residents discharged from any Illinois adult correctional center
