FY26 Atlantic Gateway, Arlington to Alexandria Fourth Track - CMAQ Funds

The Federal Railroad Administration (FRA) is offering a CMAQ‑funded grant to construct approximately six miles of new fourth track on the CSX Richmond, Fredericksburg, and Potomac Subdivision between Arlington and Alexandria, Virginia. Only the Virginia Passenger Rail Authority (VPRA) may apply, and the award ceiling is $56 million.
