ANNUAL CONTRACT FOR ANALYTICAL LABORATORY SERVICES

The City of Visalia is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide analytical laboratory services for the City's Water Reclamation Facility. The initial contract term shall be for a 12-month period and shall, at the City's option and with the consent of the CONTRACTOR, be extended annually thereafter for four consecutive one-year periods. The contract laboratory must have the capability to analyze wastewater, water, bio-solids, and soil samples. The contract laboratory must also have experience in EPA-approved methods of analyses of water, wastewater, biosolids, and any additional samples submitted for analyses. Some key tasks include: • Groundwater monitoring and sampling • Biosolids sampling and analyses • Providing analytical result reports • Maintaining a Quality Assurance-Quality Control (QAQC) program • Complying with regulatory requirements as identified in 40 CFR 136
