Description

Erie County’s Department of Health is seeking a qualified nonprofit or independent contractor to design and execute a multi‑county qualitative research study aimed at improving childhood vaccination outreach in Erie, Niagara, Cattaraugus, and Chautauqua counties. The contractor will recruit parents of children ages 0‑5 in low‑coverage ZIP codes, conduct eight focus groups, analyze findings, and produce tailored education and marketing materials for local health departments. The effort must be completed, with all funds expended, by the end of November 2026 and final deliverables handed over by December 31 2026. • Recruit and engage 8‑10 participants per focus group across four counties (total 8 groups). • Conduct moderated focus groups, transcribe, and provide thematic analysis reports. • Develop a full suite of printed and digital educational assets (posters, handouts, social‑media content) customized for urban, suburban, and rural audiences. • Deliver all materials to the four Local Health Departments for dissemination and provide a final project report with methodology, insights, and reimbursement documentation. • Budget range $10,000–$31,000 with administrative costs capped at 15 % and mandatory $300 staff‑training line item.

Budget estimate

$10,000 – $31,000

The RFP specifies an award range of $10,000 to $31,000, with up to 15 % allowable administrative costs. Assuming the contractor captures the maximum award and includes the full administrative cap, the total contract value could approach $31,000. A realistic expectation for a well‑qualified proposer would be a contract near the mid‑range, roughly $20,000‑$30,000, depending on the scope of staff‑training and ancillary costs.
