Law Enforcement Promotional Assessments

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is seeking a qualified consulting firm to conduct Law Enforcement Promotional Assessments for the ranks of sergeant and commander. The selected firm will design, implement, and present the results of the promotional assessments to the Sheriff. The assessments will include written exercises, oral interviews, and other evaluation methods to identify candidates with the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities for the positions. The contract will be for a period of 12 months, with the option to renew for three additional one-year periods. Key aspects of the project include: • Conducting promotional assessment processes for sergeant and commander positions • Designing and implementing assessment exercises, including written and oral components • Providing training for assessors and scoring methodology • Delivering written feedback to candidates and a comprehensive report to the Sheriff • Ensuring compliance with CALEA standards and County policies
