On-Call Architectural Services

The City of Pasadena is establishing a pool of up to five qualified architectural firms to serve as on‑call consultants for a wide range of municipal building projects. Selected firms will receive task orders on an as‑needed basis over a four‑year contract, with each agreement capped at $1 million. Services include condition assessments, programming, feasibility studies, schematic and design development, construction documents, bidding support, construction administration, historic preservation, accessibility, sustainability, and post‑construction close‑out. Firms must demonstrate at least five years of relevant experience and have completed three comparable projects in the past five years. The solicitation is open to firms that can provide multidisciplinary staff, manage multiple concurrent task orders, and meet the City’s quality‑assurance standards. • Up to five firms will be pre‑qualified for a four‑year on‑call agreement (max $1 M per firm). • Work covers all phases of architectural services for municipal facilities (e.g., libraries, police stations, parks, transit facilities). • Required experience: ≥5 years; ≥3 comparable projects completed in the last 5 years. • Proposal deadline: October 27, 2026 (electronic submission). • Questions due: October 6, 2026. • No guaranteed minimum workload; task orders issued based on suitability.
