Notice of Intent to Sole Source - Sonic Boom Noise Monitor System

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) intends to award a sole source contract to Blue Ridge Research and Consulting, LLC for a custom-designed sonic boom noise monitor (SBM) system. This system will support a noise mitigation requirement for the Atlantic Test Range (ATR) / NAWCAD Sustainability Office at Naval Air Station (NAS) Patuxent River. The contract will be awarded on a firm fixed price basis. • The system must be custom-designed to meet the specific requirements of the Atlantic Test Range (ATR) / NAWCAD Sustainability Office. • The contract will be awarded to Blue Ridge Research and Consulting, LLC, unless an interested party can provide a statement of capabilities that demonstrates competition for this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. • The Government will not pay for any information provided in response to this notice. • The contract award date is anticipated to be January 2026.
