Repair, Refurbishment, and Engine Replacement Services Ladder 831 – 2010 Pierce Velocity Fire Apparatus

The Navy is seeking a contractor to provide repair, refurbishment, and engine replacement services for a 2010 Pierce Velocity Fire Apparatus, specifically Ladder 831. The scope of work includes engine replacement, mechanical and drivetrain repairs, electrical and lighting system upgrades, HVAC system repairs, aerial and pump panel repairs, and testing and quality assurance. The contractor must provide all necessary labor, supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, diagnostics, testing, and incidental services required to complete the identified work items. • The contractor must remove and replace the existing engine assembly with a complete crate engine with turbocharger. • The contractor must perform repairs and replacements involving the fuel system, cooling system, brake system, steering and suspension components, hydraulic systems, pump assemblies, drivetrain components, and ancillary mechanical equipment. • The contractor must provide LED lighting retrofits, emergency lighting repairs, electrical wiring repairs, beacon replacements, gauge replacements, and associated system testing. • The contractor must repair and replace HVAC system components, including compressor, condenser, evaporators, heater core, pressure switches, drier, and hose assemblies. • The contractor must repair and refurbish aerial controls, discharge wheels, valves, gauges, control panels, intake/discharge assemblies, and aerial lighting systems.
