FIXED ASSET INVENTORY CONSULTANT SERVICES FOR THE COUNTY OF MERCER

The County of Mercer is soliciting proposals from consulting firms for fixed asset inventory services. The project involves implementing a fixed asset management system, converting legacy asset data, conducting a comprehensive physical inventory and valuation of capital assets, and providing detailed accounting and insurance reports. The goal of the project is to establish an accurate baseline inventory, ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, and provide reliable data for accounting and insurance purposes. • The project includes asset management system implementation, data conversion, physical inventory, valuation, and reporting. • The County estimates an inventory base of 2,000,000 square feet of building space. • Capital assets with a value of $5,000 or more and a useful life of three years or more will be individually inventoried and capitalized. • The contractor will be required to provide a fee for any additional square feet beyond the estimated base. • The contractor will be required to conduct detailed inspections of assets at all sites and record all relevant asset information. • The contractor will be required to provide a project level of effort estimate and a task-oriented schedule. • The contractor will be required to provide a narrative description of the proposed approach to the project.
