Event Parking Services

The City of Orlando is seeking proposals for event parking management and staffing services for various locations within the city. The contractor will be responsible for providing parking staff, managing parking facilities, and ensuring a high level of customer service. The contract will be for a three-year term with the option to extend for an additional three years. The contractor will be required to provide a range of services, including parking attendants, traffic control, and customer service. The city is looking for a contractor who can provide a high level of service, be responsive to the city's needs, and maintain continuity in staffing and customer service. Some key responsibilities include: * Providing parking staff to anticipate and address guests' needs * Managing parking facilities, including installing and removing temporary traffic control devices * Providing exceptional customer service and being aware of and sensitive to the enjoyment and safety needs of the public * Maintaining continuity in the assignments of contractor employees * Providing a minimum of four employees on staff who are bilingual in Spanish * Providing services as requested upon 24-hour notice * Reporting any deviations from the requested amount of personnel to the city no later than 30 minutes after the scheduled call time * Providing the proposed schedule of personnel for each event no later than three days before the event * Providing thorough customer service and event safety training to each employee prior to assignment * Developing a personnel manual and comprehensive parking lot operations documentation * Providing point of sale wireless handheld devices, related equipment, and software for event parking services * Ensuring that each of the supplied personnel meet the minimum requirements for their position * Providing a means of communication for contacting designated operations managers and account managers * Maintaining continuity in staffing and customer service * Providing a written event evaluation report at the conclusion of every event * Participating in and contributing to an employee appreciation event to recognize the value and importance of all teams that contribute to the success of the venues The city is looking for a contractor who can provide a high level of service, be responsive to the city's needs, and maintain continuity in staffing and customer service.
