East River Road Garage: Delaware Street SE Repairs

The University of Minnesota is seeking a construction services provider for repairs at the East River Road Garage, located on the east bank of the Twin Cities campus. The project includes repairs such as a new catwalk system, shotcrete, rock-netting, rockbolts, and electrical/lighting replacement. The selected respondent will be required to perform the work for a fixed, lump sum contract, including all costs necessary to complete the project. The total construction budget for this project is $3,300,000. The university requires the project to be substantially complete by no later than October 30, 2026. • The project includes a pre-proposal meeting, which is non-mandatory but highly encouraged. • The respondent must submit a proposal, including all required attachments, by the deadline. • The university will evaluate proposals based on criteria such as team qualifications, project approach, schedule, cost, and safety. • The respondent must also meet the minimum criteria set forth in Minnesota Statutes, Section 16C.285, and verify compliance with the responsible contractor requirements. • The project requires a payment and performance bond, but a bid bond is not required. • The respondent must submit monthly reports to substantiate compliance with targeted business and community economic development commitments.
