US85 PORT OF ENTRY WATER LINE REPLACEMENT

The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) is seeking bids for the US85 Port of Entry Water Line Replacement project. The project involves running a new 1 ½" poly water line, approximately 315 feet from the new meter pit to the existing mechanical room inside the port. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor and materials to complete the job, including inside demo work, inside project work, and outside trenching and reclamation requirements. The project requires the contractor to remove all equipment associated with the existing well system and install new equipment, including a quarter turn full port ball valve, wye strainer, pressure reducing valve, and double check backflow assembly. The contractor must also provide a one-year parts and workmanship warranty on the project. • The project requires the contractor to bore under the driveway, curb and gutter, and under the building to the mechanical room. • The contractor must provide onsite restroom facilities for working staff. • The contractor must coordinate with Port Of Entry authorities for onsite parking or storing of equipment, materials, work trailers, etc. • The project is a secure facility, and the contractor must adhere to the security protocols.
