City of Eagle Pass Construction Services for Public Works Complex

The City of Eagle Pass is soliciting competitive sealed proposals from qualified and experienced general contractors to provide construction services for the Public Works Complex. The project includes site work, utilities, civil improvements, architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and other work required for a complete and operational facility. The city intends to award a contract to the offeror whose proposal provides the best value to the city. The scope of services includes providing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and services necessary to complete the project. The project must be substantially completed within 450 calendar days from the date of the notice to proceed. • The general contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary for the construction of the City of Eagle Pass Public Works Complex. • The general contractor shall perform all work in strict accordance with the drawings, specifications, contract documents, applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, codes, ordinances, permit requirements, and recognized industry standards. • The city will retain independent third-party testing laboratories, inspectors, and other consultants as necessary to perform material testing, inspections, and quality assurance services for the project. • The general contractor shall be responsible for coordinating all construction activities necessary to complete the project in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
