Description
The South Carolina Technical & Comprehensive Education Board is seeking bids from qualified contractors to provide temporary unarmed security services for a readySC Training Center. The contract will run from December 15, 2025, to June 30, 2026, with a transition period from December 1-14. The contractor must provide security coverage for the prevention of loss or damage to property and protection of personnel. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining daily activity and incident logs, conducting interior and exterior patrols, and completing all reports and documentation required by SLED and SCTCS.
• The contractor must operate from a business location within a 100-mile radius of the facilities.
• The contractor must provide a transition plan with their offer.
• The contractor must ensure that all facilities are consistently maintained to be safe and secure.
• The contractor's employees are expected to demonstrate professional behavior at all times.
• Services must be primarily performed Monday – Friday between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM.
