Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking to procure Hall Micro Free Power Systems, Brand Name or Equal, for the El Paso Veterans Affairs Health Care System. The system should include various components such as a high-speed drill, reciprocating saw, oscillating saw, and sagittal saw, among others. The contractor must be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment/system. The equipment must be new, not remanufactured or "gray market" items, and must be covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The contractor must also provide training and troubleshooting and repair services as needed.
Key requirements include:
• Ability to rotate in a minimum of 45º increments
• Autoclavable batteries and handpieces
• Handpieces must be rated IPX 6, IPX 8, and IPX 9
• Hermetically sealed power and fully autoclavable
• Cordless and weigh less than 400 grams
• Lithium-ion technology for torque, power, and performance
• Delivery within 60 days of contract award
• Compliance with all applicable records management laws and regulations
