Health Sciences Center – 3rd Floor AHU Relocation

West Virginia University is seeking a qualified contractor to relocate and modify a fourth‑floor Air‑Handling Unit (AHU) to the third‑floor STEPS Laboratory within the Health Sciences Center in Morgantown, WV. The work includes complete dis‑assembly, transport, re‑assembly, installation of new fans, hot‑water coil, upgraded ductwork and piping, concrete pad, structural opening, electrical service, and full commissioning. The contract will be awarded on a low‑bid basis, with a firm‑price period of at least 120 days, and must be completed by the end of 2026. • Relocate the existing fourth‑floor AHU to the third‑floor mechanical room and modify it for a 10,000 CFM flow. • Provide all materials, tools, equipment, and labor—including new 10,000 CFM ECM fan array, hot‑water coil, upgraded chilled‑water piping, concrete pad, and roof‑mounted relief fan. • Perform all civil, mechanical, electrical, and controls work, comply with WVU safety and building codes, and achieve substantial completion by 30 Nov 2026 and final close‑out by 31 Dec 2026.
