Workers’ Compensation Excess Insurance

The Grapevine-Colleyville Independent School District (GCISD) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Workers' Compensation Excess Insurance. The new policy shall go into effect on April 1, 2026, with an initial term of 1 or 2 years and subsequent renewal options for a maximum overall term of 5 years. The policy shall provide, at a minimum, specific excess coverage, annual aggregate stop-loss coverage, and aggregate excess limit. The proposer must submit a policy specimen and endorsements, and any exceptions or modifications in coverage or conditions must be clearly identified. • The District has approximately 995 teachers and 1013 other employees. • The school district uses the services of York Risk Services Group as the Third-Party Administration (TPA) handling the workers’ compensation claims. • The payroll for 2024-2025 is approximately $107,182,482. • The proposer must provide a financial proposal, including premium rates and fees. • The District reserves the right to adjust the initial term and renewal terms as needed to service the needs of the District.
