The State of Maine’s Department of Public Safety is seeking a qualified firm to provide Traffic Safety Resource Prosecutor (TSRP) services. The award will be a one‑year contract (Oct 1 2026 – Sep 30 2027) with the option to renew up to five additional one‑year periods, for a maximum term of six years. Two TSRPs will be staffed (each ≤ 160 hours per month) to support law‑enforcement investigations, provide legal research, draft pleadings, deliver training on impaired‑driving enforcement, and act as a liaison between prosecutors, law‑enforcement agencies, and traffic‑safety stakeholders. The work is funded by a federal grant (NHTSA) and compensated on an hourly‑rate basis; the lowest hourly rate receives full cost points in the evaluation. Vendors must be registered in Maine’s Vendor Self‑Service (VSS) system, pass a state background check, and have attorneys in good standing with the Maine State Bar. Proposals are due 4/28/2026, with questions due 4/15/2026.
