Request for Qualifications for Engineering Services for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project(s)

The Town of Osyka, Mississippi, is seeking qualified firms or individuals to provide engineering services for work related to the implementation of approved FY 2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) project(s). The scope of work includes preparing project cost estimates and preliminary design documents, distributing bid documents, assisting in bid opening and preparing bid tabulation, assisting in the execution of construction contracts, holding pre-construction conferences, and performing construction inspection. The selected Engineer will provide all engineering services through project closeout. • The Engineer will be responsible for preparing project cost estimates and preliminary design documents. • The Engineer will distribute bid documents and assist in bid opening and prepare bid tabulation. • The Engineer will assist in the execution of construction contracts and hold pre-construction conferences. • The Engineer will perform construction inspection including periodic reports to the Town and approve all payment requests. • The Town encourages Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Woman-owned Business Enterprises (WBEs) to submit proposals. • The Town also encourages Section 3 eligible businesses to submit proposals.
