Description
West Chester Township is seeking a qualified consulting firm to assess and design an upgraded security system for all township facilities. The scope includes a comprehensive site‑by‑site assessment of existing hardware, identification of obsolete equipment, and development of a detailed design and recommendation package for access‑control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection systems, to be installed in 2027. The consultant must deliver a full assessment report, design specifications, testing and training plans, and all required documentation by September 2026.
• Conduct assessments of eight existing municipal buildings (fire stations, administrative building, police/justice center, CIT/dispatch facility, etc.)
• Produce design recommendations for modern, standardized security hardware (access‑control, cameras, alarms) and integration with centralized monitoring platforms
• Deliver testing, commissioning, training, warranty, and support documentation; present findings to township officials during the interview phase.
