Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is seeking information from potential sources to provide enterprise-wide access to an existing, commercial, off-the-shelf, web-based electronic journal collection. The collection should include peer-reviewed journals in many medical specialties, and the contractor shall provide electronic access to the specified journal titles. The contractor shall also provide an unrestricted number of simultaneous users with immediate access from any web-enabled computer within VA, and ensure that journal issue access is made available when the issue is posted online.
• The contractor shall provide access to the journal titles listed, including Journal of Clinical Oncology, Journal of Clinical Psychiatry, and Radio Graphics & Radiology Combo Subscription.
• The contractor shall provide authentication through VA gateway IP address validation on an enterprise basis.
• The contractor shall ensure that articles can be freely shared or emailed among VHA colleagues.
• The performance period is twelve months from the date of award.
