Interior Renovations at Larry R. Jackson Branch Library

The City of Lakeland is seeking a qualified and experienced State Certified Licensed General Contractor (CGC) or Building Contractor (CBC) to perform interior renovations at the Larry R. Jackson Branch Library. The scope of work includes renovation of public restrooms to include new unisex restrooms that meet the latest ADA requirements, as well as removal and replacement of existing light fixtures to update them to newer and more modern ones. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, supervision, equipment, temporary protection, tools, and materials necessary to complete the work in accordance with the project specifications, construction documents, good construction practices, and overall requirements. • The project requires compliance with various insurance and safety requirements, including workers' compensation, commercial general liability, and professional liability insurance. • The contractor must also comply with the City's safety regulations and standards, including OSHA requirements. • The project involves a pre-proposal meeting, which is mandatory for all bidders. • The contractor will be evaluated based on their experience, qualifications, and proposed roles of key personnel, as well as their fee proposal, proposed schedule, and logistics plan.
