This solicitation calls for a complete renovation of the Scale House at Miami‑Dade County’s Northeast Transfer Station. The scope includes demolition, installation of a new TPO roofing system, a new split‑system air‑conditioning unit, hurricane‑rated doors and windows, interior remodel of the control room, an ADA‑compliant bathroom, and a break‑room, plus new lighting, ceiling tiles, insulation, flooring, millwork, and full electrical and plumbing upgrades. A temporary office trailer must be provided to keep scale operations running, and all asbestos‑containing materials identified in the APEX survey must be abated before demolition. The contractor must secure all permits, meet energy‑star appliance requirements, and comply with E‑Verify and insurance/bonding standards.
