2026 Cortez Raw Water Valve Replacement Project

The City of Cortez is seeking bids for the 2026 Cortez Raw Water Valve Replacement Project. The project involves installing a new raw water valve, incorporating a new raw water flow control valve, and associated process piping and electrical work in the Micro Hydro Power Building at the City of Cortez Water Treatment Plant. The project also includes demolition work, provision/installation of structural support members, grating, and pipe supports. The successful bidder will be required to provide labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the work. • The project requires a competitive sealed best value bidding method. • A mandatory pre-bid meeting and project site visit will be held on December 2, 2025. • Bidders must submit their qualifications and bids by January 5, 2026. • The City of Cortez reserves the right to waive any formality or informality in the process of awarding a bid. • The City reserves the right to accept any bid, in whole or in part, and to reject any or all bids if it is deemed in the best interest of the City to do so.
