Description
This opportunity is for the provision of patient transfer equipment, specifically ceiling lifts, for the VA San Diego Healthcare System. The contractor will be required to provide training on equipment use and deliver the ceiling lifts to the VA Medical Center located at 3350 La Jolla Village Drive, San Diego, CA 92161. The ceiling lifts must meet specific requirements, including being able to lift at least 700 lbs, having a hand control with a wired LED screen, and having a minimum three-year warranty. The contractor must also provide a capability statement that includes detailed information about their experience providing patient lift products.
Some key points to consider are:
• The ceiling lifts must be compatible with a full range of loop style slings from various manufacturers.
• The lifts must have a class III scale that is internal and displays patient weight on a screen located on the hand control.
• The lifts must have a wireless interface that connects to the existing Wi-Fi network infrastructure.
• The lifts must have usage analytics and maintenance analytics software that can be monitored remotely via web access.
