The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is conducting market research to identify potential sources of commercial products or services that can provide 220 GHz on-wafer probes for a 220 GHz Anritsu VectorStar. The probes will be used for the manufacturing of on-wafer standards for S-parameters and Power to 330 GHz. The objective is to provide known permittivity measurements for on-wafer traceability for S-parameters, Power, and Phase. Key requirements include: • 220 GHz probes with a 1-year warranty and maintenance • Compatibility with Anritsu VectorStar ME7838G 220 GHz VNA • Direct mount to Anritsu VectorStar ME7838G module • GSG tip configuration • Contact width 15 μm • Compatible with open probe system platforms • Pitches 50 μm and 100 μm NIST is seeking information from sources that may be capable of providing a solution that meets these requirements.
