Transformer Replacement

The City of Ormond Beach is seeking a contractor to replace an existing transformer with a new one. The new transformer should have the following specifications: 150 KVA, 3ø, padmount, 13200/7620 volt grounded wye primary, 277/480 volt wye secondary, 95 KV BIL, dead front, mineral oil (non PCB), loop feed with 200-amp loadbreak elbows and bayonet fuses, 150°C rise minimum impedance of 2.4%. The contractor will also be responsible for removing the old transformer, installing the new one, and hauling away the old one. The contractor will also need to provide a concrete pad according to the transformer manufacturer's recommendations and drive a ground in the transformer base. • The site visit is scheduled for 4/14/2026 at 2:00 PM. • Questions resulting from the site visit should be submitted to [email protected] by 4/14/2026 at 4:00 PM. • The deadline for submitting bids is 2026-04-21 at 14:00:00. • The contractor will be responsible for all permitting. • The contractor will need to install the new transformer on site and haul away the old one.
