Washington County Multi-Jurisdictional Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan

Washington County is seeking a qualified consultant to develop a FEMA-approved Multi-Jurisdictional Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan. The selected contractor will work closely with the County to complete the required five-year update of its NHMP through a collaborative process. The project includes developing a written work plan, serving as the primary contact for information, providing technical guidance, and facilitating public engagement. The contractor must demonstrate experience in facilitating multi-jurisdictional teams and working with each participating jurisdiction to develop and update their jurisdiction-specific appendix. Key tasks include: * Developing a comprehensive onboarding tool kit * Providing plan development support to participating jurisdictions * Gathering information and conducting research to support the update of planning elements * Facilitating public and community meetings * Developing an online meeting service and document creation platform * Providing GIS services and analysis * Authoring the final NHMP document
